The committee met on June 4 to plan its summer work schedule, discuss learner outcomes, and to talk about the results of the faculty survey. Kitty Green explained her homework for the assessment committee's participation in the HLC's Assessment Academy and how that might interact with the work of this committee. The issue of establishment of learner outcomes took most of the meeting time. Many perspectives were presented about what priorities the committee needed to have in order to have the Faculty Development Day ready for August. The committee decided to meet on Monday, June 11 at noon. The first hour would entail Chris Cobb explaining what the team had brought back from AAC&U's conference. This would be beneficial to Patti, Daniel, and Charlie who were not at the conference. Then the committee would again try to finalize its summer plans and review results of the faculty survey.
