June 15, 2007 Ad Hoc Committee Meeting
Present: Chris Cobb, Janet Fore, Kitty Green, Joe Incandela, Nancy Nekvasil, Daniel Party, Charlie Peltier, Patti Sayre

Announcements:
- Chris informed us that the on-line faculty survey includes 5 cases of double entries. We discussed the impact that these may have on the results.
- Joe told us that Leslie Wang agreed to help us interpret the faculty survey.
Discussion of Learning Outcomes:
Chris presented two documents he prepared. One outlines learning outcomes for Model C. The second one charts where do models A and B fit
with regards to the learning outcomes he identified for model C,
We discussed the applicability of Chris's outline for Model B. We decided that it would be better to have a different set of learning outcomes for Model B. Patti will prepare this document.
Our plan is to have two models with corresponding sets of learning outcomes for Kitty to take to the Assessment Academy next week. We agreed that it would be useful to take advantage of the Academy for our Gen Ed reform project.
We will plan a joint meeting with the Assessment committee in the future.
