November 10, 2008 Ad Hoc Committee Meeting
Present: Chris Cobb, Janet Fore, Kitty Green, Joe Incandela, Daniel Party,
Minutes from the last meeting were approved.
Announcements:
- Joe has met with some students who are interested in looking over the outcomes and the preamble.
- The committee will meet with the Modern Languages Department on Monday, November 17 at 3:30 to better accommodate teaching schedules.
- The committee will meet with Math either Tuesday (11/18) or Thursday (11/20) at noon.
- The committee will meet with the professional programs on December 12 at 1:30.
- Written feedback will be solicited from the interdisciplinary and writing programs.
Committee members who were present at the last meeting with English, History, HUST, and Comm recapped the meeting for members who had missed the meeting.
The committee discussed issues regarding Modern Language in anticipation of next week’s meeting with the department.
The committee expects to meet over the Winter Break in preparation for Faculty Development Day in January.
