August 8, 2007 Ad Hoc Committee Meeting
Present: Chris Cobb, Janet Fore, Kitty Green, Joe Incandela, Nancy Nekvasil, Daniel Party, Charlie Peltier, Patti Sayre
Next meetings of committee:
Tuesday, August 14, 1-3 pm and Wednesday, August 15, 1-3 pm.
Announcements:
- Dan Deeter said that we may not be able to get the clickers on time for the FDD. We decided not to order them for the FDD.
- This year there will be 2 AAC&U conferences that may be of interest to our committee.
The rest of the meeting was spent planning the Faculty Development Day (see plan on following page).
The afternoon is still unclear. Two options were considered:
- 2 sessions: one on the models, one on how to do integration in Gen Ed in a feasible way.
- 3 sessions: one on the models, one on integration, one on “to do” (e.g. the design teams)
