We reviewed the minutes and made two revisions in wording to the five questions we will pose at the September 26th General Education lunch. We then discussed the survey results, looking for trends and patterns. It was noted that the comments were especially enlightening.

We discussed responsibilities for the Gen Ed lunch on 9/26. Joe will give introductory comments about the survey results and announce the committee’s intention to create a hybrid model. Chris will introduce the 5 questions that are non-hybridizable. Kitty will handle the announcing that it is our intention to survey the faculty on these five questions during the week of October 1 (next week) and that committee members will record the conversation at the lunch in hopes of using it to assist in the creation of the survey. We will use the remaining time to have table discussions around the 5 questions.

We will meet Friday, September 28 at 2 in the President’s Conference room.
