November 14, 2008 Ad Hoc Committee Meeting
Present: Chris Cobb, Janet Fore, Kitty Green, Joe Incandela, Nancy Nekvasil, Charlie Peltier, Patti Sayre
Joe announced that documents have been sent to the Writing Program co-chairs and to other groups with whom we have been unable to meet, asking for their input via conversation, e-mail and any other means they wish.
The committee [Joe and others who can] will meet with Modern Languages at 3:30 on Monday 11/17 and with Mathematics on Tuesday 11/18 at 12:00 noon.
The business of the meeting turned to discussion of issues raised at previous meetings with departments and ways to deal with issues that have been raised (and new issues that are raised) from the point of view of student outcomes.
Most of the meeting was devoted to planning questions for the meetings with Modern Languages and Mathematics that would allow us to make program decisions from a base of desired student outcomes.
