October 31, 2007 Ad Hoc Committee Meeting
Present: Chris Cobb, Janet Fore, Kitty Green, Joe Incandela, Nancy Nekvasil, Charlie Peltier, Patti Sayre
The committee met at noon in the President’s Conference room in the Library for a working lunch.
Minutes from the October 12 and 15 meetings were approved.
We discussed how to move forward with learning outcomes. We agreed to use the single page that had been submitted at our last meeting as a starting spot. We will do a line-by-line analysis and editing at our next meeting November 2 at 2 p.m. It is our intent to have this to present at the November 28 Gen Ed lunch.
We discussed possible timelines for the remainder of the semester, as well as the possibility of meeting with Scott Evenbeck (IUPUI) during exam week. We liked the idea that Scott might do the Faculty Development Day in January.
