December 10, 2007 Ad Hoc Committee Meeting
Present: Chris Cobb, Janet Fore, Kitty Green, Joe Incandela, Nancy Nekvasil, Charlie Peltier, Patti Sayre
Minutes of the December 3rd meeting were approved.
Joe’s presentation to students on information from the Gen Ed lunch was rescheduled by the students for Tuesday, December 11.
We went over the tentative agenda for Thursday, December 13, our day with Scott Evenbeck (IUPUI). We anticipate that Patricia (Fleming) will be able to join us all day. We’re hoping that the 1½ hour sessions will allow for some workshop time.
We discussed the special Faculty Assembly meeting on January 23, 2008 in terms of format of reporting and ways to expedite voting. We are hoping to use the “clickers” to vote on the purpose, goals, and each of the three outcomes.
