- Dean Fleming supports our plan to confine the discussion on Jan 23 to GenEd outcomes.
Planning of FDD
The core of the meeting was spent planning the FDD scheduled for Friday, Jan 11.
The afternoon session will be devoted to discussing how to implement Learning Outcome 3 (Intercultural competence & Social Responsibility). Patti will introduce this topic and then groups will be asked to brainstorm possible designs for this outcome.
Our plan is to have a design team in place by the end of the FDD. Prior to the FDD we will ask two faculty members from outside our committee to co-chair this Design Team. Two members of our committee will be part of it. At the FDD we will solicit nominations for two or three more members for this design team.
